Minerva's Scrappy Little Owl Applique
March 19th is Minerva's Day. No blood will be shed this day. That was saying something in ancient Rome where this feast day was observed with songs and poetry. Of course the next 4 days would be all about the gladiators but not this day.
To celebrate I wrote a pattern for a little owl applique. It can be used to adorn a pouch or book cover. One Valentine's Day I made a bunch for friends and stuck a heart shaped lollipop through the toes. As I handed them out a asked "Whoooo loves ya baby?
This pattern uses up all those scraps from other projects. Do what the goddess does best. Use your noodle to think up a fitting use for this little guy and Stay Crafty, Opal Luna
